eBaums World Staff Canned
For those of you that frequent eBaums World, you may be interested in knowing that the team thats been running it for the past ten years has been sacked by the sites new owners and replaced. Check out this blog they made for the sordid details and see what theyre up to next. For those that hate eBaums World and their non-attributing ways, hoist up a pint.

I guess the reason I am so upset with this is not because we were fired, but how we were fired. We've ran this company for 11 years and we were treated with zero respect. Worst of all, they provided us with NO real reason why we were all terminated.

No great loss imo. But what a shitty way to treat the staff of a company you must have bought because it was a successful source of revenue. I hope it nosedives and the company loses a shitload because of their cuntishness.

That's seriously shitty, and lol, it IS going to nosedive hard methinks, especially as it looks like that experienced team are setting up stock at ebaum.tv. Which, if this gets around the 'net will see it becoming used more.

Obviously the new owners don't own the full rights to any name, just the main domain, but seriously, firing a team that's built it up over 11 years is testament to business suicide.

Firing the entire team that have been running your site for years and know all of its vulnerabilities? That's kind of stupid, but maybe they were a lazy, useless bunch of fucks - I don't even know what this site is they're talking about.

Ebaums world is/was pretty big. But the guy pissed off most of the other big internet sites by reposting their stuff as his. You can find out more here!

Oh yes, eBaum's was notorious for stealing content, removing all traces of ownership and branding it as theirs.

Hence why I seldom went there as I disagreed with that method, but even so, it's still a really shitty way to sack your staff.
