New Year's Resolutions

Post by Dog Pants »

I don't generally make New Year's resolutions; if I need to change an aspect of my behaviour I'll do it when needed, not wait for New year.

However, I have 5punky resolutions. These are:

Put more effort into being <s>fascist site police</s> fluffy happy moderator
Start running SLA again, even if it means doing it on the boards
Put more creative thought into generating interest on the site

So, 5punky or not, what are yours?

Real resolutions:

Get less angry over trivial things
Get back into reading
Once drunk stop drinking at the same rate
Sleep more
Clean the house more often
Stop buying food at the shops only to sack it off and get a take away
Attend more events

Work on new business and make more monies
Hold at least one ProfLAN at some point

1. Improve my fitness / put a bit of meat on my bones.

This will be done in part by walking up this 1335 ft hill 3 times a week. I'll also try and do weights/running and other fitness stuff but I do get bored of indoor stuff quickly. Perhaps Tandino can tell me what he did as that seems to work well.

2. Keep a more normal sleep pattern.

3. Work harder on my company, make more monies.

A couple more feet and that would be the most hardcore hill ever.

2008 was shit, and 2009 will probably be a very important year for me so i'll;

learn something so i can put something on my CV
get my driver's license
get a job!
host a Belgium bash (although this depends on whether or not i can get my parents out of the house, and seeing as there might be two bashes and one proflan, most people's money might have run out by then)
spend more quality time with my missus
get my dog a job as well, as he doesn't like having nothing to do and chews on stuff instead.
getting a pstriple will also be one of the things that i will try to do this year, but it's not a resolution or a priority.

On the 5punkyside I'm going to try to game more with 5punkers.

On the other side I'm going to focus on my degree as a core thingiemabob and pretty much ignore everything else.

The rest of my life can get to fuck to be totally honest, I'll work on that after the degree, not like anything else barring some major catastrophe will make much difference anyway.

Roll on '10.

I'm not sure I'm with you - maybe it's the hangover... What made me lose weight was flu for a week and about 3 meals - I wouldn't recommend it.

If you want to put weight on, split up with your partner and move back home just before Christmas - the olds fed me up good and proper!
