Can someone tell me where the 5chedular came from?
i'm in the middle of a project, and it'd be very useful if I could get my hands on the code for it. Please?
Not too sure on how the mod side of it would work, but from my POV, the ability to 5chedule up upcomming events would be really helpful. It is easy to add/remove different session options (iE, I put eve stuff up, but there's COD2, Beef2, CS:S, etc)
Sorry, if my wording in all that is less than clear. Can't quite think exactly what I mean.

Ok, I'll just explain exactly what I'm trying to do (with perhaps a short history lesson). Ages ago, back when I was still a wee nubbins in 5punkorp, 5punkorp wasn't what you'd call the most successful corp in eve. Since then, we've managed to turn it around and get it happily growing, functional, and even helped each other get to that most precious of things: .....Profit!
Now the corp i'm in (as I left 5punkorp a long time ago, but still mange to kick it into working from afar, though it's far more Friznit than me these days) it starting to show somewhat worrying signs. No-one turns up for anything, and half the time the complain is "I didn't know". So, in my somewhat miss-guided idea, I'm gona start trying to make thing better, and solving that problem is objective no.1. To help do that, I'd like a clone (basicially) of the 5chedular that people can input events and stuff into, so it's easy to tell at a glace when we're gona be doing what. It wouldn't solve the problem entirly, but it's be another thing towards getting it fixed.
Better much?

Don't do it Stoat, we will lose our uniqueness!!!
Only kidding
To be honest, there are quite a lot of simple calendar hacks that you can add to a phpbb forum with little knowledge of coding, and it will probably suffice for what you need, as it's just an entry, and multiple games aren't required.
These calendars can then display events on the forum index in the same way the 5chedular does, just not so pretty.
You can find phpbb hacks at http://www.phpbbhacks.com
The other useful hack you might want to look into is a news hack, where you can setup a news forum, and then any posts there display on either a forum portal, or the forum index as well.
Failing that, a scaled down version of the 5cheduler would obviously work well, however trying to fix it with nobody but Stoat as a support resource could be tricky, whereas you can find support for almost all the mods added to the site above.
Whatever you use, good luck, and can I have the url to your site to laugh at the appauling colour scheme please
