ok I played road rage for 45 minutes. if the other maps are like that Armored Fury is well worth the money. I'll see about the other maps later.

Fantastic, as usual the EA downloader doesn't recognise XP64 as a valid operating system.

Looks like this one is off the menu for now :(

Having had arsed around in AF a little now, i like it.

It's a nice change for me as a mostly infantry player.

If you have a choice between AF and EF, i'd take AF every time.

So AF is better than EF and worthy of my time and pennies?

Also, how do these booster pack things work, can I pick them up in shops like Special horses or will I need to arse about with this EA downloader?

Yes! Road Rage and Harvest are awesome maps. they're both really well balanced, and they are a lot of fun. The other map, Midnight Sun just doesn't get played as much. It's OK, but I never have good luck on it.

I still haven't played my special horses add-on, so I think I'll give it a miss.

Might pick it up in the bargain bucket though, depending on whether I'm still into my Beef or not, or whether we are playing Beef 2142 by then.
