i'd go with spoodies suggestion

the only reason i suggest the out of 10 system is because it (and the conclusion) gives you a good idea if you want to read the review :)

Utterly brilliant, this is the kind of thing I was after with suggestions, and it's what makes 5punk so great.

I will get to work on it as soon as I fix the fact our network at work decided to kill itself, alongside 2 citrix servers

Fixed now.

All I had to do was reboot the servers, and cost the company thousands of poundsworth of time/documents being lost.

Not a problem

Servers :

ping, restart services, if all else fails, reboot and cross your fingers.

Works 99% of the time, except late on a Friday evevnign when you "really" wanna get out of work.

Here's an idea, how about we stick the consoles and review forum all together as one, and just add a PC icon to the icon list? Would the following suffice? Please suggest something else if you think it would add confusion, or could be better named.

Game Reviews
Console/PC game reviews by 5punkers

We would also need a very good moderator for this forum, who is willing to go in and edit all the lazy bastards who get the formatting wrong, and don't use proper icons where appropriate for example.

Fatherjack is a very good "writer" IMO, and I have always found his posts indepth and useful (apart from the occasional bummings and so of course). However Fatherjack may not be interested in moderating the forum, in which case feel free to chuck your name in, and we can put it to the vote.

Let me know what you think :excited:

I would like to put myself forward for moderator, perhaps both me and FJ could do it if he's interested, or just him if you all hate me  :)

If you want a reference check this out, search the page for "spoodie" and you can see my review of Bad Boys 2.

Spoodie inspired the idea with his mini review and came up with the review format, so I second this ^.

I also agree with Woo about FJs lengthy reviews; I figure if he's got the inclination to write that much he'll probably take the time to read it too.

Might be worth having two moderators to help keep down excessive spamming of the reviews and keep the posts informative (or is that too fascist for 5punk?).

Also, as I mentioned in the OP, can I suggest using the icons to show the format the game is in? More than one format in some games I know, but usually you'll only buy one.

I don't mind doing it, and I certainly don't mind sharing with another mod, I agree that Spoodie would be an excellent choice.

I wouldn't imagine anything too heavy-handed with the modding - people should be free to comment on whatever they like (unless they're spammers) - just a bit of tidying up and organising so that each game/review gets their own thread and don't get mixed up.

That way it would be a useful resource for someone visiting for the first time, as well as a bit of fun for us.
