Between your sessions of blowing my tax money on shells to blow stuff up with, could you see your way clear to giving me a ride to work? I'd love to beat the traffic to smithereens with one of them! :w00t:
look for a sherman or suchlike, under £25k, road legal, run over anything.
fix'd
Hardly, they're pretty poncy as far as tanks go, but light and cheap enough to use :)

Meh, still big enough to run over most traffic. Hmm, brings a new meaning to traffic jam that. Ponders....

Anyways, last time I saw a sherman was in the sights of leopard 2 I was playing with in the Chilean desert, back end of last year. Popped quite nicely when I put a round of HESH into the side of it. That said, we had filled it full of oil and petrol and stuff beforehand. Then a Mirage came along and dropped a 1000 lb bomb on it and ruined all my fun :x

Sadly ranges in this country are slightly more...eco friendly. We shoot wooden targets and some very old tanks that nobody want any more. Hunks of metal now really. But it still great fun :P

That animated gif is fantastic

I wonder why they didn't use that modified image on the AOL/discuss campaign? :faint:

Dear 5punkers,

I still don't get it. Why'd people want to spend good money on guns that don't go bang? Can someone please explain.

Thanks and best wishes,

Friz.

Move to the USA :p

I'm going to buy gun when I have the spare money. I'm thinking of getting either a 1911-clone or maybe some kind os SIG.

i have a gun that goes bang.
It however needs to be clamped in a vice, and fired using a nail and a hammer. It only shoots in one direction. i dont know how accurite it is because in the direction it shoots in there is a wall about 3 metres away, which is disentegrating slightly.

My friend has a 1911-style pistol made by Remington, it's pretty nice. I want to take a CCW class and perhaps get a pistol, I was thinking a PPK, or something along that line.

Which reminds me, I do need to come up with a melee solution in case if my new place is attacked by pirates...

Hehe, have a small rack of throwing axes above your bedside table.

Suitable for defending any Galleon.

surely, you would want an actual throwing axe, as opposed to sometihng thats made to look nice aswelll? who cares if it looks like it some fancy thing, I'd rather have a real one that dosn't fall apart when you hit someone with it.

those things won't fall apart so much, but i wonder how well balanced they are.

my thought would be just getting a little proper axe and a knife, a big knife. :)

from my experience, movie props, weapons made to look fancy, ect, ect, are absolutely useless for hititng people with, they bend, they break, and you get laughed at.

On the other hand, my dad's collection of swords, axes, maces, BIG SWORDS, they were made for hitting people with :) As he used to do on a regular basis (he used to do medevil reinactment)
