New Year's Eve

Post by Nickface »

So what's everyone's plans? I'm going to go to a rock show at a smaller-ish venue (3000 people max), and then going to a friend's house to cook steaks and throw down in console mode until the wee hours of morning. It will also be the world premiere of my latest batch of beer. :likesitall:

Oooh, I've been there. The pool was absurdly expensive.

Pubs will be full, so probably either convince Tezz and others to come roung and booze, or sit at home, feel unimpressed with the London fireworks, and generally treat it as any other night =\

I'll have a week or two off work, so as usual I'll just play games, drink beer and sleep.

There's no particular requirement to follow any sort of day/night cycle when doing this, so at the turn of the year I'll be randomly doing one or more of the above.

I shall be going to a party at my mates house, way out in the country, up a hill. Much alcomahol shall be consumed, and then we shall sit at the top of the hill for the actual midnight fireworks, as we can then just watch the displays done by everyone in a 15mile radius.

Watching a firework display from above is rather odd.

If its a nice clear night, we shall then play "spot the satellite" (I won a couple of years ago!) whilst consuming more alcohomahol. If its not a nice night, we shall bitch about the weather whilst drinking more alocomahololol.

At some point, I will either pass out or end up sat in the conservatory looking at his dads ducks, drinking beers in a vaguely zombified state.
