Ah, it was only a party popper.

Anyhoo, making a few assumptions on the way you exited that room I'd say Toast is nearest, since he has to unlock the APC, then Mephit, since he left first, then Grim, Deject, and Dirk not too far behind. I'd say a couple of meters between each, so Mephit (and the still-wriggling kid) is 2m away, and Grim, Deej and Dirk are 4m away.

EDIT: That top bit is my imagination running away. Nothing has happened yet.

Yeah, don't see why not. Tactics has to be useful for something. You spot a gutter that most people wouldn't have thought would be sufficient, but you reckon it should shield you from most of the blast.
