Amblin Burgers

Ingredients

  • 250g beef steak mince
  • 2 shallots
  • 1 slice white bread
  • pinch parsley
  • seasoning

Method

Put the bread in the oven until toasted through - then blend in a food mixer until incredibly tiny. Slice the shallots and dice until no more than a few millimeters to each piece, chop the parsley to the same size. Put all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and with clean hands mix together so that everything is evenly mixed. Form the mixture into patties and fry until cooked as you want. For added omnomnomness, put some nice cheese into the middle of the patties, but be careful that they're well sealed or all the cheese will end up in the pan. These also work barbeque'd, but the cheese will almost all end up on the coals. Best served with a little rocket salad on malted brown rolls with spicy ketchup and fake cheese.
