SWAT 4 was originally played on 5punk for an attempt at a set of CO-OP games, but now gets played on friday evenings as a tactical/teamplay game, often with the consumption of alcohol.

==The Juicy Bits==
*Slow speed tactical gameplay with an emphasis on non-violent methods of restraining suspects (the same cannot be said for restaining team mates).
*Good practice if you ever need to arrest someone on a SWAT operation.
*Vast selection of weapons, Less Lethal and Lethal alike.

==The Crusty Bits==
*ZOMBIELEGS!
*Maps are very crowded with more than 4 people - This could be seen as realism, but can make big games difficult.
*Server is reasonably unstable.

==Conclusion==
SWAT 4 is a solid Tactical First Person Shooter, it requires some patience and the ability to make decisions quickly.

However Swat 4 is not a game for everyone - It's a slow co-op game, if you want a fast deathmatch game, try something else.

==The Basics==
Battlefield 2 (BEEF) got a warm but not stunning reception at 5punk to begin with, however over the last year or so, we've been getting more and more players playing regularly and have actually managed somehow to get pretty good at the game, even showing some signs of organization and skill, both of which are usually unheard of on 5punk.

This popularity made it possible for us to split the cost of a [http://www.game-monitor.com/GameServer/81.19.208.85:16567/5punk.co.uk_-_Get_some_on_you.html Ranked Server] for 5punk so we could have a server run to the usual 5punk standards.

BF2 is basically a First Person Shooter (FPS) game. It can be played in single-player mode with computer controlled enemies (or bots) providing the enemy force, however, this is only really useful as an off-line training mode. The real action in BF2 is in LAN or Internet based play.

Firstly, new players will be required to create a user account. This will serve as a login for the game (EA have also announced this same login can be transferred to the upcoming Battlefield 2142, the next title in the series), a login for EA Downloader and as a login for [http://www.fileplanet.com/ FilePlanet].

This account will maintain a record of all your stats, weapon unlocks and ranking data and provides stat geeks with something to read when not playing Beef. Players can retrieve their stats through a number of third-party websites, the most popular being [http://bf2s.com/ BF2S.com] as well the BFHQ section within Beef itself.

Servers are provided by Electronic Arts (the games' publisher), however, the vast majority of game servers will be funded privately by clans or benevolent gaming gods (like 5punk). These servers can be further be subdivided into 'ranked' and 'non-ranked'. Ranked and non-ranked servers are identical game-play wise but only ranked servers will record your scores and stats allowing you to raise your BF2 rank and give access to weapon unlocks as you progress.

The premise of the game is simple; two opposing forces compete in limited-time games in an attempt to reduce the opposing team to 0 tickets (tickets are 'points' which allow a team member to re-spawn after death) by moving through the map capturing enemy controlled bases (or flags). BEEF is in many ways the polar opposite of [[Call of Duty]] as Beef is a game that requires communication, tactics and teamwork, all of which usually go against the 5punk way of doing things.

Many 5punkers have come to love the game, not least in part due to the teamwork and attitude of 5punkers.

The Beef 1.3 server is prone to crashing, often making people lose over 100 points.

Beef also has an unrivaled ability to really, really piss people off which we call [[Beef Rage]] it is thought Beef Rage comes from a chemical reaction caused when two spawn-raping fuckmonkeys meet one [[rocket whoring]] [[Faggot]]

==The Basics==
Eve-Online is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game set in the future. In this possible future, mankind and its greed have colonized the known universe, fueled by the ambitions of Mega-corps that war with each other over profits and resources. It looked like a dark time for mankind, with civilization pushed to the far reaches of known space, when a natural wormhole was found to another Galaxy. Brave explorers ventured forth, and began colonizing the new worlds, when suddenly the wormhole closed. Nobody could find a way back, and millions died without a link to the other galaxy. Over time, some did regain the capability to fly in space, and 4 main races arose. The Gallente, Caldari, Minmitar, and Amarr each have different social/economic/military views, and have skirmishes, despite the Concorde governing presence that maintains order within the 'Empire' systems with police patrols. Outside of the Empire, lawlessness presumes, as it is outside the reach of Concorde's forces.

Players earn ISK (Inter-Stellar-Kredits) for a myriad of things. Mining, going on Missions for agents of a faction, building and selling items from minerals mined from asteroids (most of the items in the game are built by it's players), buying things at one station at a low price, and hauling them to a station with a better price for sale, shooting NPC's that have bounties placed on them, freezing player ships in space and demanding a ransom or threaten to blow them up (also called piracy, which can only be done away from the watchful eyes of Concorde), or just for making instas, something that costs a player nothing, but can vastly speed up a player's movements through Eve.

Players play in a world that they can affect. Players can build space stations at moons to harvest minerals off the moons, they can form a ship-building alliance, or they can band together to destroy the work of others.

The Economy is market driven. If you want something bad enough, a large amount of isk can get it for you. If you undercut your competition, you may establish a new standard price for something within a region.

Your character's actions determine what he/she can do, and where they can go. If you upset the police too much, they'll shoot you on sight. If you upset players too much, they'll place bounties on your head and everyone will try to get you. If you work hard and don't shoot indiscriminately at others, you'll develop a positive security status, and others will trust you.

==The Crusty Bits==
There is an hour of DownTime each day while they update the cluster of servers. Eve is one virtual world in our Real World, and is played on by Hundreds of Thousands of players.

It cost a monthly subscription to play, although they have a 14-day trial available, and annual payments for a discount.

It takes time to learn the skills to do larger things within the game. But it wouldn't be much fun if everyone could fly Titan's on their first day!

Jump in a Velator, run through the tutorial, and look up a corp in the recruiting channel. ASK QUESTIONS, as other players experience is invaluable in the rich world of Eve.
