This is the first thing that's impressed me about the PS3 so far: http://www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=4491

I suggest you watch the "GDC 07 Customization and Level Demonstration", in HD if you can be bothered to download it. Makes me think of Garry's Mod for a console.

Yes, it's the first thing that's made me consider getting a PS3... :faint:
However, while Locoroco made me get a PSP, I doubt this has quite the same pulling power on scale.

to me it looks like something that would be fun at first, but quickly gets boring afterwards, kinda like the sims. i could be wrong though.

I suppose it depends on how big the community is and how well it's implemented. I love the idea of sharing your "levels", ranking and comments, I'd like to see something like that attached to Garry's Mod.

Made by the guys who did Ragdoll Kung Fu apparently!
I imagine it will have the same appeal as the Trackmania series, only slightly shinier and in platform form, obviously.

I must say, this does look particularly fantastic. I imagine much hilarity would ensue when playing this with you bunch of bummers. However, it doesn't do enough to convince me to fork out the asking price for a PS3. If I get given one for free then I'll not argue, but theres no way I could justify that price for the sake of a few single-platform games and a disc drive that could still be either vhs or betamax.

While the level making looks fun, the actual game looks rather annoying - they seem a bit random with where they grab on. I can see people having to wait while other players catch up getting old, fast. Love the music, though.

The music is by The Go! Team I believe, I'll try to find the exact song...

Seems to be Get It Together from Thunder, Lightning, Strike. On the US version of the album, there are more tracks (and slightly different samples) one of the "extra" songs, We Just Won't Be Defeated, sounds like it would fit well with the game, too.
