Just a thought, but maybe the top right images need a bit of an update. Its been many a moon since the last Badger session, for example, and yet teh Beefs are not represented up there at all.

Not really a priority, I know, but im sure one of us could knock some updated stuff together. Thoughts?

Oh yes and the colour for the top image and the rest of the blue doesn't quite match. I noticed yesterday that it's really bad in Safari but I don't imagine many 5punkers use Safari.

Here's what I have so far with just BF2 (and Zombie!) added in. After lunch I'll try to get some COD2 and others in as well.

Well if you're using a Mac using Safari is a given, it's nicely intergrated into the OS without being Evil like IE on Windows.

I do hope I'm not at fault for freshening up the battle between mac and PC?

So I just had a tought, instead of cramming everything into one top image, how about something like an animated GIF that features one specific game that is set to change every 15 seconds or so? Or perhaps just put in a random image script to the top corner (I beleive that was talked about before).

The GIF idea is better than the random image, otherwise newbies might think we only do one game (If they don't bother to read forum titles and stuff)..

I like this.

But a fresh one like we already have would also be good. My PS skills are not up to that level otherwise I'd give it a try myself.

All of this. I like the idea a lot, and will be very glad to see the fruits of someone else's labour.

Before I go off to work, here's where I'm at so far:

EDIT: Also, I'm saving all the PSDs I'm using to make the stuff: Characters with blank background, blank blue gradient thing, etc. When I get home tonight, I'll upload them for eveyone's use.

i'll give it a bash when nickface gets those PSDs uploaded
i've been looking for an excuse to get photoshop re-installed..

This is the kind of thing that I think looks good, and at least the following games definitely need to be included :

COD2
BF2
CS:S
EVE

The bird on the left of the current banner image is the Eve bird, I'm sure one of the Eve nutters can find a nice source image for you to use.

But so far, all have been good suggestions, and they're looking nice too
