ooh, I couldn't possibly say - but you could try

If anyone requires a legit copy of Ghost Recon, you can get them new through Amazon from ?2.88

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/tg/ ... 41-0836637

The expansion packs are slightly more expensive - but I have seen Gold Editions (iirc) with Island Thunder and Desert Siege advertised for around a tenner.

Ooh, im up for a game of something

I dont think I have any of the expansion packs either, im fairly certain dodgy copies will work online, or at least they used to.

But maybe in the interests of simplicity I should just buy the Gold edition and be done with it.

What game types would we be playing?

Morning Comrade,
There will be firefights, co-op missions, defence, Hamburger Hill - all the usual GR offerings. Before a game we'll find out who has what expansions installed and use what we can.

Okay, HMV.co.uk are selling the Gold Edition of Ghost Recon (both expansion packs included) for ?19.99 http://www1.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayPro ... sku=778763

This is also part of an offer for buying 2 games for ?30, and the other game I'm thinking of buying in that list is Delta horse : Black Hawk Down. http://www1.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayPro ... sku=778763

So to cut a long story short, you can get both of these for ?30 delivered to your door, which I think is a bargain.

Always fancied trying Blackhawk Down - I'm usually put off by film spinoff games though.

Huzzah

I have recieved my Ghost Recon Gold Edition in the post.
Word of warning though, it only contains the Desert Siege expansion pack, and not the Island Thunder one.

I'll give this a go tonight, so give me a shout if you have this game, and you see me on Xfire. 8)
