I'm going skiing in Utah for the next two weeks. Snow is apparently very good so should be fun. See you all when I get back!

Have a great time friz. I hear its great skiing out there. Just a dry state so you may find yourself driving to another state to get beer with real alcohol. Stupid Mormons. So envious, I want to go skiing too =/

I could have had a free trip to Salt Lake a couple of years back, but lack of booze was the main reason I declined. Apparently you can sign up at members clubs, but you can't just walk in off the street.

Actually, in Park City, (the base of the best ski runs, so I've been told) there are quite a few new restaurants that serve alcohol freely, at least I didn't hear any talk about memberships or any such thing. But yes, watch out! They might try to convert you rather than serving you!

Otherwise, I've heard their snowfall has been great this season, so enjoy some pristine white fluffy stuff!

I spent a month in Moab (also in Utah) about ... erm ... Hehulk's age ago

Booze was freely available at offies and pubs and that, but was capped at 3.2% allowing me to impress all the local ladiez with my beer drinking abilities and then pee all night. Don't remember if you could get spirits or not, was too busy drinking beer and mountainbiking :ahoy:

Have fun Friz, see you on your return

Snow is indeed fantastic, in fact it's the best they've had for 25 years - around 5 feet so far this season. Also, there's a huge liquor store right across the street and there seems to be no rules that I can fathom about drunking it, I guess they realised that Mormonising a big tourist resort might be a poor business plan.

I hurt. Skiing is hard work.

Hope y'all good!
