Just a computer use would have done. You get an array of pictures of him. He seems to be touted as a 'controversial' young journalist.

From my previous detect roll, can I see this chap anywhere?

Ah sorry, I missed that. Yes, across the balconies and receiving the attention of a small gaggle of young girls sits your man with his cameraman. He's a suave looking chap with a slightly too scruffy style (but obviously patiently done) for a TV reporter, with a cameraman who looks like Jack Parow.

Is the cameraman wearing a cap with an oversized peak? Please say yes.
So, how best to approach this?

by Dog Pants
Alas no, just a normal cap.

Waterboarding!
I have no idea. I figured we could have Dirk try to persuade him and if that failed, try intimidation.

Failing that, have Eraser 'persuade' him

I'll go down with Dirk to act as the token Human.

Hmm, thinking about this we need to be careful with the TV cameras there. I don't want to be appearing on the news at 10 as the "official spokesman of SLA and Karma". I can imagine people getting upset.
Can I suggest one of the larger chaps comes along to "inspect" the camera whilst I chat to the reporter?

I can stand nearby looking nonchalant.

Eraser taps the camera man on the shoulder
He grins as the guy turns around.

He looks intimidated.
Jack Parow wrote:Uh, it's not running.

Ooh, I didn't see these updates over the weekend.
Dirk wrote:
Marty Morris? Hi! SLA Operatives here, we're all big fans. Say, how about we go for a nice off the record chat somewhere before some company bigwig decides that your style of reporting isn't in line with SLA Industries "best practises"?
Now, preferably.
Persuasion:
3,3,+5 = 11
Ooh, the smooth talking Ebon needs to work on his charm skills there.

Morris wrote:Well look, I appreciate you looking out for me but I know this business and I think I'm hitting the right spot. So unless you're on a Grey BPN I'd appreciate you running along.

Cue some intimidation! Eraser, you're up.

To be fair, we don't have any BPN paperwork.
Eraser wrote:I'm here ta tell you, you ain't hittin the right spot, you are so far off the right spot you ain't even on Mort anymore.
So I think you need to find anotha story 'friend', sometime about now

His smug smirk droops slightly.
Morris wrote:Uh, right. Another as in not the Karma story? I think I have something on Speed Gangs I could follow up.

Eraser grins, which probably doesn't make the guy feel any beter.
Eraser wrote:Thas why I like you news types, very efficient you are.
The Speed Gangs one sounds good, I'd listen to that one. The Karma one's a dead end.

Gang stories are popular. I'm sure you'd get better ratings.
