maybe faaabulous was a bit harsh, but to me hard fi is like james blunt. Besides i think it's best to have a song where people go "whats the song on that video" rather than knowing it already.

Anyway, i wouldn't mind doing it at 6.30 tonight or tommorow before the sceduled match, although theres been little enthusiasm for the schedule recently.

Can't say I know Hard Fi's stuff very much, but James cupcake is a boring whingy arsehole. I agree on not putting in SOAD or stuff like that tho, the music should be interesting and/or relevant to the sketch.

And no offence was meant on the misquote before, so I hope none was taken. Sooooorry! I forget that internet words don't often convey the tone in which a message is meant.

SNPG is suitably humbled.

Fair point, and you're the director so I'll go with what you say personally :)

Tonight may be bad - 'tis COD2 night and other thigs fall into second place. Tomorrow should be good for me as long as I can clear it with Mrs Pants (should be okay for an hour or so).

may i suggest doing this on friday?

we have no games on friday, and it'll give our director some chance to storyboard stuff a little so the actors know what to do.

May i suggest Coward by Wes Borland for an intense shooty adreniline rushy bit?

I agree about Sandwich choosing - one director, one vision. However it'd be worth letting everyone know where your skills are, for example he might cast me in the helicopter-chasing-the-jeep scene but I'm a spaz and can't fly one. Auditioning if you like :)

So, my skills lie in running about and standing around. Maybe shooting a bit. Oh, and I can die quite well too (although nobody dies in the A-Team). Consider me for non-vehicle driving/piloting roles.

Can I also add a suggestion for a Tool track?

I'm getting to the point of being reasonable at flying attack choppers now, so I can do that if needed. I believe someone else round here has high opinions of their BlackHawk abilities though :)

I can fly a helo pretty good. I can't do a whole lot of acrobatics, but I can avoid hitting things pretty good.

these are all good choices for songs, but i want to get away from heavy metal and such because it's an incredible cliche in battle oriented videos, i think we could get a better effect from more atmospheric music.

heres something small i did a year ago:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 1196026812

it was just a complete adlib to test some concepts, i can do much better now obviously

edit: ok is friday ok for everyone? if so i'll stick it on 't schedule
