Well, it fires caps. Works well enough to scare Mrs Pants into bollocking me and telling me the guards'll be round, and send kids into fits of hysterics when I fire it at them and shout YARRRRR!*

*While at a self proclaimed pirate themed event, not just in the street.

thats why you put the safety on before you take the clip out... for a real test of how good it is though, shoot yourself. only way to go
