Basically, Mr Pants, womens tastes for games are as varied as blokes tastes for games, so the best bet is to just try her out on stuff and find out what she likes that way.

It's quite fun but it's not multiplayer or Co-op, is it?
I completed it the day before it was released

Its a single player actioney RPG-lite kinda game. Quite fun, fairly piss easy.
You can get it for PC or X-box, maybe others, I dunno.
Good points: Its quite pretty, funny in places, and has things that may appeal to girlies (such as buying houses and doing them up, and romancing the locals). The combat system is nice and easy to use, and quite satisfying too.
Bad points: it really is piss easy, and very short. The locals yelling things at you gets annoying after a while, as they have quite a limited vocabulary. It ends suddenly, and without much warning, not giving you a chance to go back to finish side-quests and stuff (this one made me the most annoyed).

Easy is good, as is quick. It's difficult for me to think of games she'd like because I've been playing games for about 20 years, while she's barely played any at all and most of that is console stuff. This means what I consider simple and easy (any FPS for example) is confusing and difficult to control for her. Her lack of experience means she needs either controls so easy your mum could pick it up, or a slow enough pace for her to learn it without getting frustrated.
I'm thinking I'll have to wean her onto things gently - start off with me playing a SP game she likes the look of (she liked The Movies, and she'd probably like The Sims) and then she plays while I help. Then we can move up to offline co-op stuff like Diablo, then maybe online co-op stuff like Guild Wars. Hell, maybe I'll make an Eve player of her yet
She can pay her own subscription fee though

As mentioned before, poke me if any of you want 100's of puzzle games for the PC.
I'll drop them on the floor in one humongous zip file this time to make it easier.
Speaking of which, has your missus played any of them Joose?

I'm sure she'd get into something like warcraft 3, alot of gameplay and a pretty cool expansion
