I'm completely different to this, I like to listen to very different stuff on the road as from at home. Its just a thing that when I'm off and around, I like to have music that kind of shrink into the background a bit more so that I can concentrate on whats around me whereas when I'm at home there are no lamposts to walk into (Usually) so I'm safer listening to some more engaging music.ProfHawking wrote:However its no ipod i suppose. I listen to the same music at home as i do on the road/wherever anyway.
Nobody else has ever agreed with me on this, but I just can't wear headphones when I'm outside the house. It's the sensory deprevation thing - I feel really vulnerable when I can't hear what's going on. Because of this I only really listen to music in the car and when someone's on the radio and I'm playing a game like UT or Eve where I don't need the sound for atmosphere.pixie pie wrote:I'm completely different to this, I like to listen to very different stuff on the road as from at home. .spoodie wrote:If you had to travel into London on the train like me you'd be greatful of the sensory deprevation, I listen to music to drown out the sound of people talking, phones ringing and other peoples music turned up too loud. Also good for drowning out the noise of the traffic in the city, all assuming you have a decent pair of headphones.
