I can only assume you're talking about the OP rather than much more recent post by Hehulk?

/me sniffles...
I don't know whether to be sad Hulky's military career didn't work, or glad he'll be back....
How long until you're home, mate? Just curious since out-processing in the US takes months, to keep people from quitting. It took less time to complete than to quit, but that's us.
Hope to see you in Eve soon!!!

Glad you've got a plan, Hulk.
We all know how clever are you at all this complicated Eve stuff, and while that not might translate well to the early stages of military training, there are opportunities to demonstrate your skills at college and at work.

Hulk threadjacked a while back Pete.
Sorry to hear your news he-hulk. I failed (TA) Sandhurst so I know a little about how you feel. Green's not for everyone and certainly not for me (I had been considering a career with the RE, hence TA sandhurst while I was at Uni). I really miss the opportunity to play with explosives though, that part was fun
wachoogonnado at college?

thats too bad hulk sorry i didn't read your post! Just did now!!! I had a really bad time as well m8 Tho I was close to getting back squaded but manage to pull some wonder at the end. Thing is keep going at it you may just click into place! Sargent's wouldn't try to change your mind if they didnt think you can do it. Otherwise they wouldn't bother.
They thing is tho i think what made it bearable is that i never take it to heart and laughed it off. I still do! right now even tho my life utter shit i still look at it and laugh it off. I think the Army made me stronger in some ways.

Home thursday, but I've drinking plans thursday night, and depending upon how much I get paid tommorow I'm going to go order/buy a new machine friday to replace my somewhat outdated current rig (AMD 2000+ 2.0GHz, 1GB RAM, X700 gfx card) for running stuff like soup. Or I might get a new monitor, either is tempting.

I got a new 22" WS for about 200 of your shiney new english pounds after 4 years of a Dell standard 15'. my PC is still behind the one you posted, but the monitor makes all the difference. And I can take it with me when I get the cash for a proper PC upgrade.
Welcome back m8, sorry it didn't work out.

Spend all your monies on a shiny computer, it's what I'm going to do. However replace "your monies" with "someone elses monies I'm borrowing" and replacing "shiny computer" with "excessive alchohol".
