Seems like the game's drawing to an end after last night's 30~ turns.

Nobody's declared war on anybody yet, save for an erroneous declaration of war followed by immediate peace by Dogpants against myself.

We're going for, as far as I can see, non-military victories. It's almost too quiet.

This is why I've not started any fights (deliberately), and going by the size of yours and Bits's armies I think it was a wise move. That and I'm the pink love dragons.

It is all rather quiet. I predict everyone will attack Grimmie in a (probably too late) effort to prevent his Science Camps sciencing us all to oblivion. Everyone but me of course, as I am physically incapable of declaring war. Im not sure I like that aspect of the tradermen.

You could escort our units so that if Grimmie wants to attack us he has to go through you.

No, I struggled with it. After playing through with 5punkers I had a better idea and it kind of clicked, but it's still got Civ-style difficulties. I'd recommend starting on the easiest level and working upwards.

Start with the Broken Lords too - you can completely disregard production of an entire resource.
Happy to nip in to a game with you some time to answer any questions you might have, too.

Yeah, I'd be up for a short game sometime. I do get most of it now but I'm always a bit worried that I'm forgetting something in my turn and what science upgrades I should pick. And there's so many numbers!

Grim's top tips:
* When you place cities or boroughs, bigger numbers are generally better. Eg. if you want more food, build on bigger food numbers.
* The game warns you if you haven't chosen a construction or a research when you click "end turn", don't panic.
* The game shows you if any of your armies can move, if you don't need them stationary then use them to explore!
* If you're clueless about what to build first, you can tell individual towns to self-manage. I usually have one main town I manage and my other ones are AI managed.
* Keep an eye on the winter timer (bottom right), you'll want all your settlers or armies in position by the time it gets close to winter.
* Never undertake diplomatic relations with Joose.
