HALLO.

I need a new office chair, and I'm after something fairly fancy and configurable, pretty much similar to this but considerably less chavy - https://www.gtomegaracing.com/gt-omega- ... ed-leather

Looking to spend around £70-100, anyone got any recommendations?

Cheers :)

I've got a AKRacing chair and it's the most comfortable I've had. Will probably last longer then the cheap office chairs I've had before. It looks a bit stupid but well worth the £230 in my experience.

I'm basically going to echo el-Spood with the price bracket.

There's an entire world of difference between your sub £100 and your ~£200 chairs. The key thing to look for is how long they're designed to be sat on. The ones which are designed for 8 hours are where you should be looking.

F'instance, I have one of these, which I bought in a discount for ~£150 ish. The blue one is a bit cheaper.

It's miles better than the ~£60 office chair it replaced and all the ones that went before it, and to be honest, it's not far off the very good ~£500 woth of office chair I use at work.

Not perhaps what you wanted to hear, but it does make a world of difference.

I've been looking to replace my nice leather executive chair for a while now. I've had it for about ten years and have really struggle to find one that's as appealing. The seat is all flat and the pneumatic bit doesn't work any more though. And I'm not convinced the top won't fall off soon because of the kids hanging off it. This one looks like a contender though (and will probably be gone when I have the money for it, but at least I can record it here on the off chance).

It's not particularly configurable, or a gaming chair, but my Markus has lasted me years, and is super comfortable. I never bothered fitting the arms.

Nick one from work. Put it slowly ever closer to the door each day so that nobody notices.

Thanks for the input guys. Looks like 100-200 is the going rate for anything worthwhile so I might just have to bite the bullet.

Went for the GT Omega chair in the end, or rather it was a present for my bizzle day, but narf I shouldn't have doubted it. Easily the most comfortable chair I've ever had.
