Belgiumbash II interest thread
Werd!
Whilst it's really too early too tell if and when Belgiumbash II will happen, recent developments have made it possible for me to offer two possible locations for you to demolish/sleep at. I'm going to list some pros and cons so you can choose which one you'd rather want to go to.
Option one is my parental house, which offers in it's advantage;
-A multitude of space
-quiet countryside surroundings
-a big backyard for you to relax, smoke and cook barbecue dinner in
-several available beds
-Hektor!
it's disadvantages are;
-somewhat difficult to reach without a car, I might have my driver's license by then but it's too early to tell.
-all dining and drinking places are a little bit out of the way, not an awful lot on offer either
Option two is our new place in Ghent that I'm supposed to inhabit in September, which has as advantages;
-easy to reach by public transport, there is a tram stop right at the entrance of the street, which leaves from the train station
-lots of opportunities for food and drink, it is a city after all
-Historical Ghent has a lot to offer for tourists, it's the lesser known 'cousin' of Bruges but it being a student town it's pretty hip and stuff. (I'm the grumpy bastard throwing things at them)
-Bob!
but it's disadvantages are;
-considerably less space, I've seen 5punkers sleep in some crazy spaces but I cannot offer you a comfy floor carpet to sleep on, you'll probably have to bring your own sleeping gear from Britain which really sucks (I might be able to arrange some things though)
-no back or courtyard, but there is some space outside.
-I share the house with two others, they may or may not be there but they're pretty cool guys. They will offcourse take up some space.
So, irregardless of whether you can make it or not, where would you like to bash? Things might still change but I will do my very best to ensure the chosen location is all kinds of bash excellence.

I vote for all of the above.

I'm up for either, assuming I have my car fixed up by then

Just crash into someone again and let them pay.

Is a day trip to Ghent feasible? If so that could be a fun day time activity. I picked "Cuntryside" anyway

It sure is, it's not far away and by then I'll probably know more great places to drink (and eat)tandino wrote:Is a day trip to Ghent feasible? If so that could be a fun day time activity. I picked "Cuntryside" anyway

I would absolutely love to visit your country retreat, but alas don't think it will be possible money-wise.

It's at my parents' place, it won by an overwhelming 7 votes whilst Ghent bash was a meagre three.
