Just had a look at this and its just up a few motorways from me. As i'm new and not entirely sure what Brum Bash entails could someone fill me in plese?

Considering that my computer is currently half way through being Modded (pump floating, no side panels, no hard drives fixed etc etc) and isnt particularly mobile and also the short notice I doubt I would be able to come but good to know for the future.

Are those PiMs cakeythings basically Belgian Jaffa Cakes?

Binky:

Brum bash and Jockbash are social gatherings. While game are oft played, mostly it is about the consumption of booze, food, having a good chat, destroying Casa Del Grim's toilet, pondering if Pete's arse comes afoul of the Geneva and/or Hague Conventions, mocking each other and generally having a good laugh.
Barring one or two 5punkers taking consoles to make sure they're there, there's no need to bring much apart from yourself.

ProfLAN and Beardbash are generally game centric, although much of the same as above occurs, just with either many PC's added to the mix or a tsunami of paper and pens for the latter. Tends to be more pirates at a Proflan.

Almost, they're made in France. So basically posh jaffa cakes.

EDIT: apparently they are made in Belgium, but it's a French brand. So they're posh but with a hint of mediocrity. Also, how do you do strikethrough commands again?

Awesome. I wonder if they're as good as Marks and Spencers ones.

With magic

Nice. Sounds like technically I wouldn’t need a computer then. Any chance I could come along and drink with you fine fellows (pending authorisation from the mrs)?

Absolutely! It's Friday - Monday, but people are coming and going at various points over the weekend.

Bring yourself, a bit of booze/food money, overnight kit and you're sorted.

Good lord. Those won't last long. You'll be doing well if they even make it to the bash.

Question: TVfunbox controllers! Do we have enough or shall I bring some?

I will try and make it over there on Saturday/Sunday for some drinking etc. If anyone needs a lift from the Northampton region let me know.

Would I be mad if I raided the wine cellar for a NICE bottle of wine/alcoholic fluid to bring? (and by wine cellar I mean cupboard that contains a few bottles of something, mostly things you can clean thermal compound with).

Any really. I have a bevy of Wiimotes, a PS3 controller and a wired 360/PC controller. What I bring depends on what I can fit in my bag, or what we're short on.

Well Tezz is bringing the PS3, so it depends on how many he can bring. I also have a wired xbox controller is there is need for an extra. Do we actually even have 4-player games for playstation?
