Better graphics, more guns, more srzbzn.

Dunno if I will. Probably. It's not Ep3 though is it?

I could get behind another version of CS. And it'd be nice to have a fresh game with fresh players, a partial reset on the community. Trying to play CS:Sauce now is bewildering with all the mods, die-hard players, etc.

I forsee a lot of spawning into a carpet of fire while subsequently being stunned.

I heard in some preview video that they're bringing back dust, dust2, nuke, and inferno for sure. Nuke and Inferno are awesome. They're also tweaking dust so that it's not quite so much bullshit; you'll actually be able to use the underpass as it's a larger area and there is a stairway up top so you're not quite so badly at a disadvantage exiting.

Good.

I don't quite understand why Dust and Dust2 are so popular apart from them being from really early in beta CS (think dust was a original map, and dust2 was beta 3 or 5), because they're not very good maps.

I hope de_prodigy makes a return, I do quite like that one. I'd also like to see some of the original maps like cs_siege, de_747, de_storm, de_vertigo, cs_backalley, cs_zoption, or one of my favourites, de_survivor.

The video on Steam shows off a bit of some new maps and says there's more game modes. No bad thing.

I just rewatched the Valve annoucement trailer on Steam, interesting enough they state "cross-platform play" as a feature.

I suspect that won't make it into the final version considering it's been noted that PC players wipe the floor with console users due to the keyb and mouse being much better at most things, especially FPS's.
