Excellent, Thor comes off unscathed (probably due to his hardy forest-man resistance).

Glibberig takes another 1 Dex damage drops to the ground in a heap, dribbling on the library floor.
No, really.

!

Can I do anything to help him? A regular heal, or do I have to do something about the poison?

I think either way uses my Heal skill:

Roll(1d20)+5:
13,+5
Total:18

/rolls Thor's will save in secret. Natural 20!

Although he is quite poisoned, you see through Glibberig's cunning ruse. The foamy dribble on his lips appears to disappear as you place your fingers on his dry lips, as if it were an illusion. You're currently the only one to have seen through it.

Edit
Actually, Glibberig can use your heal check instead of his Fort saving throw and resist the secondary poison. I'll leave it up to you as to whether or not you want to save him from it though ;)

Thor is crouched over Glib lifting him up by a shoulder to examine him. His eyes lock with Glib's for a beat.

Loud enough for the party to hear:
Thor wrote:Be brave, my friend.
He heals Glib of the poison and releases him back to the floor, not entirely gently.
Thor wrote:I think he's over the worst of it.

Shankley prods the demon corpse with his rapier.
Shankley wrote:Ugly little spud, isn't he? You guys want to tell the guard? Personally I think poor Glibberig should announce in song how we triumphed, in the square.

Glibberig calls upon his Shatnerian reserves from his prone position.
Glibberig wrote:*gurgle*

Ack, poison...coursing through...my veins...not sure...if I'll make it. Must...rest. Get me to *cough* an inn...warm bed and ale *splutter* to help me recuperate.

If...if I don't make it...look after Sweetlips for me. He *argraga* always wanted to...move in with you, Shankley...my elven friend.

Getting dark now

*gurgle*

Shankley pales a little at Glib's performance.
Shankley wrote:Oh! Thor, I thought you... Come on, lets get him out of here. The priests might be able to help.
I'll start trying to hoist him down into the library.

Shankley wrote:Hmm. If he's that sick maybe we should make him a bed up here. I don't know if it's safe to take him down the ladder. I'll bring one of the priests, I'm sure they can cure this sort of thing.
I'll try to make him comfortable with whatever's handy. His cloak, some books.

Oh yes, japes and drollery aside, I'd like to update the widow first before we take to the square in case my braggadocio belies the behaviour of the Secret Chief of Police.
