EYEeeeeeee...Cybermonkies

Post by friznit »

This looks quite 5punky in an RPG/FPS kind of way: EYE. There's a 4 pack available for a tenner each too.

Anyone know anything about it?

Arse, looks like I'm going to have to get and play Vampire again - it'd be a crime not to for 4 squids. And what about Dead Horde? Or Trapped Dead? Both 4 player coop zombie games

Also, From Dust...and, and Day o' Sex and Stronghold 3! Loads of quite cool games incoming soon finally.

Get ready... for in 2011 you'll get decade old graphics.

The games that have captured my imagination the most in the last year are Dwarf Fortress, Traincrack, Minecraft, Mount & Blade and any number of Indie stuff with 'shitty' graphics. I'm increasingly disillusioned by the A List consumerist style and no substance and find that good gameplay goes a long way to compensate for old graphics.

Looks interesting. All I've seen so far are screenshots of the black and gold techno-fantasy characters, which didn't do anything for me. However the gameplay footage on Steam has my attention. I think RPS have been writing a few things on it, I'll look them up later.

Details are scant, but what I've seen of it so far makes me think it's the game that Shadowrun should have been. I'm tempted to drop 15 squids just for the hell of it.

You are indeed correct Frizzles, but I would also condemn it for looking like it has a million excellent yet disparate ideas shoved into a gameplay gumbo. If they make a demo I will definitely play it, but I'm tightening the belt right now and a copy of this is nearly half a copy of deus ex: shiny brown edition.

I would probably be willing to fork out for the 4 pack if there's 3 others willing to part with a tenner?

I was somewhat interested in this. If I buy it, being a citizen of the best country ever it'd cost $13.50 per copy which works out to £8.22 or something like that.

OK. If you don't know where to send monies (I think PayPal will let you specify to send $13.50), PM me and I'll buy once everyone's got their money in.
