Friz BBQ

Post by friznit »

Short notice, but since this weekend is meant to be a scorcher thanks to the Spanish plume, and I've just bought a barbecue, I figured I'd have burnt chicken and charcoal burgers this Saturday afternoon.

If any of you West London bummers (or anyone else for that matter) fancy dropping in to West Drayton for some lunch/afternoon/early evening shenanigans chez Friz, let me know. The place is sprog 'n dog friendly - lots of grass, no cars and a playground outside.

Unfortunately I'm both a lazy cupcake and an antisocial fuckhead, so I'll probably delete this post when I get home this evening in the hope that noone's seen it already.

Until then, all welcome. Let me know by text, PM, email or super secret seal team six stealth helicopter parts imported from Osama's mansion in Pakistan, so I can stock the required amounts of fud and booze.

Considering I've not seen lady rabbit in a while, and I'm away with work for most of next week, I think I'm going to be on boyfriend duty :(

Hmm temptedings.
I am golfing on satuday, not sure when it will finish, and Ladyprof is working until 8pm. Sunday afternoon would be easiest. When are you thinking of doing the charring of meats?

I suppose I should add more details really

Plan is for lunchtime Saturday (1pm onwards) but people are welcome to hang around, or tip up later in the evening or come and go as you please - pretty much open house for the day really. Unfortunately Sunday's not an option, as I'm doing other stuff that day.

Thunderstorms last night. See this is what happens when you arrange a BBQ in advance.

Hmm, umming and arring about golfing atm. If the weather stays shit, might not go. but then again, a bbq in the rain is not much fun either.

Tis a nice idea tho, maybe another weekend with less moody weather?

Yeah, was a wild shot given the forecast was good, but more fool me for trusting the Met Office. Sod's Law is so much more reliable.
