Le diner de cons (The dinner of idiots)

Post by fabyak »

If you've not heard of this film before, it is a French one (no English language track, just subtitles but this doesn't detract from it any)

Basically it is based around a 'dinner for idiots' that a group of friends hold each week. They must each bring along an idiot (different one each time) and a prize is awarded to whoever brings along the best idiot.
This film is very very funny, with superb acting and I would thoroughly recommend seeing it.
I saw in HMV for about £7, or it's probably sweepable (although if you do :sweep: you may not get the subtitles so be warned)

Otherwise it is in the sales on Play.com for a mere £5

Dinner for idiots? What a great idea

I reckon we could easily turn that idea to online gaming somehow.

It took a few tries but I eventually found it on lovefilm and it's on the list, thanks for the recommendation.

It reminders me of The Last Supper.
Also they're doing a remake (Dinner for Schmucks) with Ali G. Could be good, will probably suck.
