Also this. Ive kinda taken on too many things at once, which has overloaded my Beard, and ive ended up not doing much of anything at all. I need to trim it down a bit. Trim down what im doing that is. Not the beard.Grimmie wrote:Sorry I've been largely failing at SLA
Gonna get my beard engine running again.

Ah, hmmm. It's been a long one.Roman Totale wrote:Shiiiiny!
Ooh, ooh - can we get a debrief, Pants? Can we?
All seemed to perk right up after the BPN ended and turned into this outing. Aside from things taking fucking aaaaages, you all hit the mark. The psycho Doglies were dealt with well, the run up to finding the facility was done with no hitches, Deject found the clues as to what happened, and the escape strategy wasn't bad, if a bit botched at the end. Hence the high payout at the end. That, by the way, is a combination of a few things. Obviously the length and potential danger of the mission (Doglies would have made a hell of a mess if they'd have hit someone, and if the Carriens had caught someone on their own they'd have been in trouble) combined with the length warranted a little higher fee, but it also proved how effective having a media op along is and how lucrative a media campaign can be. Of course it has its downsides. Also, you got no SCL since it wasn't technically a BPN, so I figured a bit more cash was fine.
I don't like running huge long combats like the Carrien bash, but I won't shy away from it. I'd like to develop some Deathwatch style swarm rules to speed things up, but it's not a priority. It was good to see the melee types shine when fighting the carriens too.

In a manner of speaking. There were a few leads for alternatives, the Carriens being one. There was also some DarkNight activity in the area so that could have been exploited. I winged a lot of the BPN though, so aside from giving you a few pointers I just wanted to see what you came up with and go along with it.Roman Totale wrote:Did you have any multiple endings planned for how the Karma bar code fuck up was dealt with?
Ah yes, XP. Dirk, Eraser, Deject and Grimmie can have 5 each. Brainrot and Kt'tr can have a token point each for tagging along.deject wrote:Woo! I definitely enjoyed the investigation in this one. I got to use my new computar skillz, and the biomachines gone wrong was just cool. Can we get a good breakdown of monies and XP?
As for money, the breakdown is as follows:
Payment from Karma: 400c each
Bonus for not wrecking the factory: 500c
Carrien bounties: 125c (or 160c if you rip off the Wraith for his kills)
TV Footage: 540c
So 400c each with 1165c to divide amongst you.
You also got +1 rep with Karma, +1 Public Image, and +1 rep with your sponsors.
