Red Dead Redemption: The Movie

Post by spoodie »

I guess this goes in Entertainment as it's on TV - http://www.mcvuk.com/news/39251/Red-Dea ... ovie-dated

If you feel you're unlikely to ever play the game or already completed it then you should really take a look. The interesting characters and atmosphere generated by the cutscenes are some of the best aspects of a great game. However it could be dull without the rest.

Here's a trailer for the movie itself:

It's 30 minutes long and showing tomorrow night at 11:25pm on FIVE USA (I didn't even know that was a channel).

Looks interesting! I'm still finishing steak, but I'm very reluctant to do so since I'm enjoying it so much.
It also surprises me a bit that it's selling so well, western games are usually not the most popular ones.

This wasn't quite what I expected; it's only the first section of the main story, with some gaps and alterations. It only takes you up to the attack on Fort Mercer, so it's not too much of a mass spoiler, more of a promo. I should have worked that out from the advertised length. It is a good show piece for some of the characters and the stunning environments.

It's not available to watch online yet but when it is I'll link to it.
