Red Dead Redemption

Post by tandino »

One for the consoletards amongst us...

Rockstar's latest offering is due mid May, and I don't know about you chaps, but I'm getting very excited about this.

It seems to me to be very Oblivion-like (apart from the wild west setting, of course). Horseback riding, bear hunting, shoot outs etc.

My main reason for starting this thread is to see who'd be interested in forming up a 5punk posse for multi-player larks? Think of the bear (bare?)wrestling matches, whore hunts etc. Oodles of 5punky fun to be had, I'm sure.

Any of you fine folks likely to be getting this?

Sounds nice. I've heard it mentioned quite a bit, but haven't really investigated it.

That does look rather good. Probably will get it, although chances of me multiplaying on it are slim, as my console access is at the whim of the mrs, so I tend to only get on it at random times.

There's been floaty rumours of a slim 360 but I've not heard any solid details. Assuming they actually test the hardware this time, it could be a safer bet than a standard one.

I still love this early trailer. It's a good demonstration of how they're capturing the character of the western.

Not sure about the game though. It looks great, but I've not been able to get on with Rockstar's recent games.

Rockstar are slowly dripping out more information about this as the weeks go on. It's really shaping up to be a beauty now. The latest video (below) shows what competitive multiplayer modes are available. I though the 5punkers who fancy teaming up might also be interested in shooting each other with cannons occasionally.

Just under a month to go for 5punky hunting expeditions/slightly racist Mexican hunts. The Mexicans being the target, not necessarily slightly racist.

I am pretty excited about this now. If any of you lovely bunch plan on getting it for the 360, add my gamertag (if you haven't already) and we'll go and shoot whores and have sex with bears. Or something.

Gamertag is Tanderon.
