Lanarchy 35 - 20th February 2010 - Watford

Post by McBain »

Hi guys, long time since I've been on this forum! I got some kind of 'ghost' IM though, so while I'm here... ;)

Lanarchy 35

Those of you that follow @Lanarchycouk will already know that Lanarchy 35 will be -

10am Saturday 20th February

http://www.youtube.com/v/fJo9g8hOlGQ&hl=en

Those that have been to a Lanarchy event before will know how things work.

This LAN will predominantly be Modern Warfare 2 with a little Left 4 Dead 2 and Team Fortress 2. If you wish to attend, it is advisable you have these games otherwise bring some movies to watch!

Lanarchy events do now of course have an internet connection. Please make sure your steam games are up to date and run in offline mode.

The event will start at 10am and go on until 10pm as usual. There is free parking right outside, and with it being only 3 or 4 minutes from both the M25 and M1, it's a nice easy venue to get to from most of London and the Midlands.

The Costs

Following the fall out of numbers from the recent LAN's, you must now pay in advance. The cost as usual is only £10 and can be paid using a variety of methods.

LAN Payments are non refundable or transferable.

Good to see you again. The IM was a spammer whose mail got deleted before most people read it.

Wife/child tag team prevent me making it, but Modern Warfare 2? Can you run a server on a LAN game? Never occurred to me before.

It's not a great system, but yes, private match and as with online it will run a listen server.

I think there look to be some pretty cool options actually, you can set people with a number of lives and such. Maybe make it a bit less of a deathmatch gaming style!

It wasn't that pedantic was it? I just figured if there was people interested then it might as well get fixed.
