My phone has Opera mobile as default, despite having IE installed on it and I don't even know how to set IE as default.

Same, my N70 came with an Opera. It landed in my mobile recycling bin pretty fast though.

I would agree with this dude. I know it's unlikely given people mostly not caring, but if the option existed to trial run through multiple web browsers and you then picked the one you liked it would be better than bundled software. Unfortunately most people would just choose IE because that's what they've been exposed to for a long time.

Still, the more people who see and like firefox and renounce IE the better.

Installing Firefox is one of the first things I do after a fresh install or getting hold of a new machine. FF layout just makes so much more sense, that and like Sheriff I like sticking it to the man.

I don't know why but my firefox is still very broken, i turned all the add-ons and plugins off and it still randomly fails, but seems to have a preference for failing when opening youtube videos.

I use Opera, with IE7 as backup. As much as I love Opera, they're just being ridiculous in this case. Why not go after Apple as well for bundling Safari? Ubuntu with Firefox? Until a few years back, Opera was charging for a browser. Mozilla (and eventually Firefox) were free; I tried (and dropped) both of their browsers.
