Brum Bash IV Orders

Post by Grimmie »

Greetings, and welcome to another food based post on 5punk!
One of the most important aspects of the bash is the abundance of delicious foodstuffs and boozes on offer.
By all means bring your own stuff if you can, but I'm taking orders for extrabooze and extrafoods.

<a href="http://www.5punk.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic. ... ">Previous order thread is here.</a>

I'll be ordering;
- Kettle chips, bread sticks, pretzels and pringles, basic nibble foods.
- Lots of 2 Litre bottles of fizzy stuff, mainly coke.
- Probably a party bag of some cheap chocolate.
- Bacons for Sunday morning, fish fingers for Sunday lunch.
- A shit-ton of bread, that always seems to get used up.

:ahoy:
Place your orders, gentlemen!
Money you owe to be shoved in a pot in the kitchen at some point during the bash.

<b>NB:</b>
As Mr. J is low on money, I have promised to purchase deliciousbooze for him, free of charge.
Let me know what stuff you drink Mr. J and I'll get you a pack of it.

If you're a beer drinker, I would recommend Innis & Gunn as I tried some this week for the first time and it is both massively tasty and rather potent too (but doesn't taste it!) and it has some bubbles in too (not masses, just a few) so the getting pissed happens even quicker :likesitall:

You like that stuff? I tried it back in 2003 when my pater got sent some to try, thought it tasted fucking terrible.

Can there be diet coke throw into the fizzy drinks? Seems to work better with vodka over regular coke

Vodka and lemonade? You are a weird one arn't you, it tastes like foul, it seems to accentuate the TCP qualities of cheap nasty vodka.

Might be alright with decent vodka, but not with the common in pubs Smirnoff.

This has reminded me to try out different mixes with vodka, I reckon Iron Bru or Tizer could work well with it.

Irn Bru is Hal's favourite vodka mixer, I'm not a fan, but then, I can't taste much, so I might be missing something.

Prof has placed an order for;
Staropramen or Budvar with Fosters or Stella as a backup if the super-duper-markets don't stock his fancy booze.

I'll grab some diet coke and some lemonade, too.

:above: this. Get a Jooses worth of extra assorted booze and foods, and I shall throw money at you in thanks. I'm absolutely non-fussy about what it is (as long as its not cider. Cant stand cider.)

:above: I wouldn't mind bringing some home-grown beer if it wasn't for the fact that it is fucking heavy and me n pete would probably drink it all on the train... :ahoy:

As usual; i'll be bringing mattetaart, but i won't be bringing any beer this time, due to budget and weight related stuff. However, if there is any special beer or other euro stuff that anyone would like; i'll happily supply it.

That stuff is fucking tasty, bring that and I'm sure I and others will gladly reimburse you for it by getting your food and drinks and what not.

I think you already told us the name, but my memory isn't exactly top notch.

Damn that stuff is good. I'm already salivating at the prospect of eating more of Johnson's mattetaart. And I think I may even be able to drink beer and be merry as well, although feeling better does also mean I have to go back to work. :(
