I'm a bit behind the rest of you with this. On the other hand, ive just beaten the first boss, with my sneaky stealth character, on Deus Ex difficulty, and no Typhoon.

Re: Day O' Sex: Human Revolution
As soon as I finished the first game, I was straight back into it to try a different route to completion. As much as I enjoyed this one, I'm finding it difficult to summon the energy to start again.

Re: Day O' Sex: Human Revolution
I'm doing a second run though as well. Skip function is being used liberally for the stupid amount of CGI cutscenes, while lamenting the lack of skip button for the in-game conversational cut-scenes (ie, Sarif walking around his office and the like).
Tell you what though, doing a pacifist run, and the first level in Sarif labs pre-augs is fucking hard. Some seriously narrow windows for sneaking into and out of some rooms.

I'll be honest, I'd get them if I could. I'd totally replace all my body parts I would.buzzmong wrote:Something that's been nagging me....

Re: Day O' Sex: Human Revolution
Oh, they look cool, but that's even worse as they're simply there to be cool.
I know it's picky but it would have been interesting if all the highlighting and aug vision was tied into them and there was an option to retract them.

I assumed they were your HUD.

Re: Day O' Sex: Human Revolution
I would, except it's pretty clear in the Jenson operating cutscene he gets new eyes, made doubly clear by eyes seeming to be one of Sarif's biggest products*.
*I'd love for them to exist though, I'd be on them like a shot.

Re: Day O' Sex: Human Revolution
Doesn't mean they're doing the HUD though. But yeah, if they're just sunglasses that's a pretty pants upgrade, especially since you still get dazzled. I'd rather see Jensen's cyber-eyes.

Re: Day O' Sex: Human Revolution
Adam Jensen is a fucking idiot. I spent the whole of the cinematic with the Dragon Lady exasperated at him, spotting what was going to happen from miles away, and wanting to punch her in the face. And he fell for it like a massive chump.

Hah! I just managed to drag two friendly turrets around one level. Very useful for a defender section, I just hid behind them.

I killed a few guys by throwing the turrets at them, I'm not sure if they got squished or shot, but it was funny either way.Dog Pants wrote:Hah! I just managed to drag two friendly turrets around one level. Very useful for a defender section, I just hid behind them.

Re: Day O' Sex: Human Revolution
This video is rather good. Goes into a bit of detail on why DEHR was so good. Not sure I entirely agree with all of it, and none of it is likely to shock your undies off, but its worth a watch none the less.
