EFT2L Team Fortress 2 Tournament

Post by Grimmie »

So, who's up for this?
(Yes, I used the T word)

Teams of 10-14 players who are new to competitive play.
Matches are between 8pm - 9pm central European time (us, +1)
One person per class, so we'd need a sniper, engi, medic, heavy etc.

Sign-up ends 26th August.

Details follow.

Hah, sorry, hadn't got this far down the board when I replied to and moved Trev's post.

I'm interested in principle, as I'll shortly be able to participate in regular, 5cheduled matches again. However, I'm away for most of October, which looks like it might be when this is up and running.

So put me down as a definite maybe, depending on Things and Stuff.

Potentially, yes. And presumably we'll not be super cereal about players abilities? How many matches are there likely to be?

I could play (in order of preference): Pyro, Medic, Soldier, Demo. Otherwise I'd not be very effective.

By the looks of it they're appealing to all skill levels, so we don't have to be "Shit hot" unless we want to win.
And let's face it, 5punkers are rarely concerned about victory in tournaments. It's all about the propaganda.

Er, I may re-install it and whatnot. Generally play heavy and sniper.

I can usually play a pretty good Medic. And it starts once i've finished my current job. Win-win!

That's pretty good for 5punkers.

I'm still betting 1000 5perm that ninja concerts get the better of you though.

I'm hesitant because I don't really know what I'm committing to.
