Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Post by Fear »

Listen up bitches, it looks like I'll be acquiring a Wii. :excited:

However the only console I've ever had previous is a NES. I generally don't do consoles.

So far it looks like it'll be:

Nintendo Wii Console + Wii Sports (White)
Mario Galaxy as that looks win.

Also considering
The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Are there any awesome games out there I've failed to spot?

Also, I assume you get 2 controllers? No where seems to state this making me slightly nervous that it might be only 1.

Anyone know of a super seekret place that sells things cheaper?

Mucho grassyarse.

you only get one controller.

Wii play comes with another and some remarkably average games.

As standard you only get 1 controller pair: 1 Wiimote and 1 nunchuck.

Mario Galaxy is very good and so is No More Heroes. Although I've only played them for about an hour each, but everyone else says they're good, especially Mario.

Bunch of wankers. :(

I'll look into other variants then.

It's kinda supposed to be something to entertain visitors with as well, so we need 2 controllers.

Smooth Moves should be good for gatherings, and I think it only requires one remote.
I might bring that to the brum bash actually, if Grim doesn't have it already.

The new worms game is out as well for Wii, it looks promising and I'll be playing it in a couple of months once I'm home and have er...borrowed a Wii from my brother.

Just ordered. :excited: :boogie:

Gone for Mario and Zelda.

I'm gonna send my sister out to get some other games as 'her contribution'.

Smooth Moves looks like it could be good, so I'll inform her that it should be part of said contribution. :)

I must say, my friend has a wii and its one of the funnest consoles for having a mate round on a two player game, also if you like Time Crisis style games, see Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, i reckon that would be a right laugh with a mate :)

I refer you to the golf comments really. This game sucks monkey balls if you ask me, but I suppose if you like mashing buttons like a trained monkey expecting a treat this may work for you. It's also yet another Wii game designed to make you buy more plastic accessories which won't decompose for ten thousand years (see also resident evil, mario kart, etc).

The first thing you should buy is Wii Play, as you need a second wiimote, and a game thrown in as well (which is entertaining for a month or two.

Then, go out and buy Zack & Wiki, an absolutely amazing point and click adventure game, and you can pick it up really cheap now.

Resident Evil Umbrella chronicles is great co-op with a mate, especially with the Wii Zapper (NOTE: You will need a second nunchuk to play this 2 player)

Buy the Wii Zapper with Link's Crossbow Training game thrown in. This is quite a good game for what is pretty much a freebie.

Zelda & Super Mario Galaxy were good choices, they take a long time to complete.

GHIII Rocks (Excuse the pun) but it is pricey, and the lack of download content is saddening.

If you want Zack & Wiki me and the missus have nearly completed it, so I could sell it to you for cheaper than the game shops do second hand.

It has arrived :boogie:

So far I've had a little play on all the games.

I'll defo get Wii Play if only for the 2nd controller and I'll look out for the other games you all suggest.

I'll also post my Mii details as soon as I can be arsed to create one.

I love this game throughly, but you don't need a nunchuck to play the game. You can use just the Wii motes for player one and player 2. Also, the best thing ever is being able to shoot the little icon on the loading screen.
