Dog Pants wrote:I found the last dungeon we did troublesome. I didn't have a clue how to play my character any more so I just followed everyone around and facerolled. It felt like I was just being run through the dungeon. I do remember enjoying GW2's dungeons though, so it's probably just that about not remembering how to play my character.
There is a dungeon that I haven't done the story mode for. Crucible of Eternity. It will probably need to be discovered by the majority of us, and it's likely we will need to complete an event to get it open, but it should help with that feeling of being run through content. It does mean that we can only take higher level characters though and FJ can't fall asleep in one of the rooms.
My only suggestion to get re-aquainted with your character is to have a gander at your gear and see what stats you were aiming for then have a good rummage through your new look talent trees and finally go on a tour of some of the higher end areas like Orr.

Yeah, getting reacquainted with my character during a dungeon isn't the best idea. Had I been effective enough to contribute I would probably have felt more useful. I'll try and get some played this week.

Another shout for dungeoning, this time we'll go for one that I've never done? or should we crawl up the difficulty level gradually and go to Cacodemon's House (which I think I've only done once)? both will probably require some map running.
If we do Cacodemon's I might make it a bit more difficult and bring my new Revenant.

I'm happy to give it another go, but I can't promise I'll be any better than last time. I think I've done that one once, maybe.

I can only do Friday and Saturday evenings, but by all means go without me if there's enough of you on another night.

I *might* be able to do tonight. Im going to an early evening thing, and some of the people going have kids, so it might finish soon enough for me to get back and hop on. Dont wait for me though.

This Sunday? 17th? Some dungeons? If you have the expansions we have a guild hall that needs clearing out of some plant matter.

Yers.
Sadly expansion has no new dungeons, but there others we can do story mode on - I've never done Crucible of Eternity.
