Think BEEF meets other stuff on the sauce engine (need to own HL2 or CS:S)

Hurrah for Berk. I've downloaded this now, but won't have a chance to try it tonight.

I must say I do love new hl2 mods.

Server is perma-packed. few people with nasty crashy exploits, but generally a good bunch :)

Maybe we could jump on for a little test if COD gets boring, I'm also interested about how much bandwidth this eats on the server side.

I played on a couple servers last night and I invariably got connection errorz after about 5 or 10 minutes. The bit I did get to play was fairly fun. I like the more "tactical" gameplay.

dl'ing now, looks a bit like full spectrum warrior, purely the graphics though, not the gameplay, I like the idea about no hud, just stuff that pops up when needed. If this gets support from plenty of people, could turn into a winnar.

some maps are crashy (as are most servers running over 24 slots)

and there's a few wankers running around using exploits just to crash the servers.

Was alright.

Apparently there's a patch due tomorrow.

I for one would play, but I'm gonna hold off until beta 2+, as it's not really that fun.

The class system is rubbish. Reinforcements are hmmz, and there's no fucking idea where the objectives are, the compass and icons at the top are useless.

Plus, it seems to rape my system (can play hl2/css on pretty much full), shudders and judders down to about 15-20 frames.

I really must finish building the other pc.

Personally, to fit, I'd like some sort of pull out map (or pop up), which is just an image of the map like a proper map, also with added hand drawn objective indicators.

Meh, it'd fuck some of the immersiveness (that'll make lat cry for a week)

You learn your way around pretty quickly anyway.

hmmmm, my connection errorz problem seems to be affecting CS:S as well, and it only started when I installed this shit.

I too seem to be getting the connection errorz thing too, only seems to be on the first connection though.

Anyway, more important stuff.
