Is it just civ3/2/1 with fancier graphics, or worth getting?

Age of Empires III
X3: Reunion

I would do X3, but I got bored of it. before I got out of the first system. My review would consist of "zOMG, suxxors", so I may have to leave it to those who played it a bit more extensively.

Age of Empires I played quite a bit, I might do that one. Definately, if i still have the thing hanging around somewhere.

I never even completed the tutorial. There was supposed to some be on-rails bit through a city that people were saying looked quite nice/crashed their PCs but I never got to it.

Both. I'm not sure I've played it enough for a full review, but it's more of the same but with a few nice extras like a working religion system. I haven't played it more because a) it's quite similar to CIV3 and b) Eve.

Oh dear :(
The reviews I've read are horribly biased, as the guys at PC Zone can only ever convince the X fanboy to review those games, so I can never really be sure if it really is utterly fantastic.. Or if he's just drooling over bits that remind him of the other games. Thanks for the quickfire opinions guys. I will steer-clear.

to be honest, it looks like it could be good.

If you are retired, and have the time to put in 12 hour days on the game.

For four months.

I've bunged a review of X3 up. The 'on rails' mission was quirky, largely irrelevant and only novel to those who've never heard of an X-Box (like me  )

Can I have a review of a PSP game please? I'm working on one for Everybody's Golf on PSP as well as possibly doing one for Lumines.

I played a game on my sister's PSP where you use the analogue "stick" to tilt a table containing blobs of (what looked like) mercury. I thought it was very nice graphically, and a smart use of the hardware, but incredibly frustrating.

From what I've been hearing here in the USA, there really aren't many good games for the PSP, especially compared to the DS.

I'd be interested in the GTA game or Football Manager, but only so I could play them where I couldn't play otherwise, Tales of Eternia would appeal, but it's a PS1 conversion. Most of the others don't really inspire - the upcoming Katamari game might change my mind, but there's nothing out there to justify an immediate purchase, and the system price is dropping fast.

A quick blast, or puzzle games are the order of the day with a handheld system in my view - so Lumines and Mercury stand out.

I just got hold of WarioWare on the DS, and while it's simply a collection of daft touch-screen based mini games I forsee the whole family having a go this Easter weekend, and much fun being had.

Admittedly, I havent played any PSP games yet. But my housemate is nintendo crazy, so ive played many DS games. Not one of them has kept my interest for more than half an hour.

Most of them make me want to stab myself in the eyes.

Can someone do a proper review of Prey? Something that goes further than "it are ghey" or "OMFG it ruulz" would be nice.

Largely because I want to know if its worth my bandwidth
