Greetings and Salutations.

Post by sheggy6 »

Hello, I'm Sheggy6, sorry if this seems odd as an introduction, I wasn't the one who would typically join a community such as this, or join any community for that matter. I'm 17 and speak two languages, and have lived in 5 countries. I hope I can make some good friends here who's company I will enjoy thoroughly, god knows I need it. Anyhow, I like playing all kinds of games, and am always willing to hear why a game is good/bad, despite that I have strong feelings towards certain games and franchises, both in a positive, and negative way. Anywho, I hope I can find some good friends here.

Yes I remember that you guys were the band who wasn't technical enough to play Technical Gregorian Death Punk right? Yeah, I did in fact join up, I mean why not? This is a great website where it's not about skill but more or less about having fun. And I like that.

 Yep, that's us all right! I think that's us in a nutshell really. Especially the 'not about skill' part.

Well, I'm glad to hear it, I've been in too many pubs that have just been plain abusive recently.

Welcome!

Always nice to see our particular brand of awfulness at games still attracts people!

I wouldn't say awfulness, just the sense of camaraderie I get from this place convinces me that this is more of a welcoming community. I'm all for skill, if you've got it, great, if you don't, you can achieve it, no matter the age. But I feel that my mistakes won't be looked on as though it's the end of the world, which is great. All in all, this is the most welcoming community I've joined.

Ah! Hello Sheggy, glad you stopped by. Feel free to just drop into the various conversations we're having if you want. We're a friendly community first and gamers second, so nobody's on ceremony and there's no rules. We'll most likely be playing Dota tonight, amongst other things. Let us know your Steam name and I'll (we'll) add you to my (our) friends list so you can see what we're up to. We use Teamspeak 3 on our gaming nights so by all means jump on with us, join in, or just listen if you prefer, or not if you don't fancy it.

For those who weren't there last saturday, Sheggy made up number five in a Dota bot match we played. We had some great banter going, he's a lovely chap, so Fab name-dropped the site.

Hello!

Glad you dropped by - it's rare to see a decent chap such as yourself in a Dota match. Did you find the captcha accordion harmony singing easy enough?
