Re: TV Show Mini-Reviews

For all his talk about not killing people he sure takes it to the limit. If it were real life I'd bet at least one person would have died from their injuries.

I was just reinstalling to have another look, I didn't finish it either. Perhaps upgrading to the Director's Cut would be a good option for a second try.

It's said that Wright left due to creative differences, so how much of those twos efforts will make it to the screen is in question. But we'll have to wait and see. Recent Marvel stuff has been pretty good though.

Re: Browser Extensions?

I use Adblock Edge, which read somewhere is the best one at the moment, but I couldn't tell you why.

NoScript can be a pain in the bum at first, but once you've got a good list of exceptions it's fine.

I've got access to it, but not dared to enter yet. It all sounds too serious and complicated. Plus I don't have a flight stick.

Re: Pimp your Kickstarter

I wasn't going to mention Octopus City Blues because it's mental and I didn't think anyone would like it, but this update had me snorting my tea with its ridiculous parodies of old 8-bit games. It's doubled its funding, against their and my own expectations. I thought it was mental enough to put a ...

Re: New season talk type thread thing.

The series mostly stays true to the book but they changed some minor things for TV. I thought it was better than the book, actually. I get the impression the book served as some kind of proof of concept for the TV show, it read (or sounded, as I listened to the audiobook) like a teleplay. The show ...

Re: Elite: Dangerous (aka Elite IV)

Any of you see yourselves getting involved? I backed it, and early, but clearly not at a sufficiently high enough level to gain access to any betas. I just checked and the minimum to get the game at some point was £20, which is what I paid. £50 gets you access to the beta, or you can pay for an upg...

The server is switched back to vanilla as of a few days ago. Not sure what to do with it at the moment. That giant pyramid is certainly impressive.

As far as I'm concerned they could just make this game into a TV show and I'd watch it. This is great.

No other, more passionate takers so you win the game.

Don't expect to much in the way of real gameplay, from what I've seen. Looks quite nice already though. I plan to leave it alone and see how it matures.

I've got a spare key for a game called TUG - http://www.nerdkingdom.com/game/

It's an early access, Minecraft-like. Yogscast made a partnership with the devs after the Yogventures Kickstarter game died, keys for this game given to backers instead. Looks quite promising.

Re: Minecraft Server - Attack of the B-Team modpack

If no one is playing at the moment (judging by the monthly stats) I can switch it back to the vanilla world that was running previously, if that's of any interest? Or something else? Personally I got burnt out, then bought a new TV plus a Wii U*. Also Steam sales. So many distractions. Happy to run ...
