I've got a 3com one that came with my old 3com router. I've never got it to connect without the special software though, so I wouldn't recommend it. You could try some signal boosting techniques if you've got a couple of colanders and a USB extension cord. My router is in the attic and signal downs...

I'm after a new wireless dongle for my Fair Wench's PC. Its a tad too far from the router to use any of my ethernet cables so I'm going to settle for a wireless dongle thing. The one we have just now seems to drop connection all the time and is generally shit, does anyone know of any decent ones?

the Mrs Computer has gone and died finally. Chip set fan failed and the chip seems to have melted or something. So I need to get a new mother board it seems. Although it would probably work out dearer to buy a mother board that is compatible with the old RAM and graphics card. So I need a cheap ass ...

I'll play it for a few more months I think, going to cancel my two WoW subs.
