Re: Brum Bash IX (for reals)
Guy. Guys. Food. What food do you want. We want booze orders because we'll get the shopping delivered on friday morning. Also snacks and stuff. Also I'm going to do a home cooked meal one of the nights, what do people want to eat? Spag Bol? Pie and Mash? Sunday Roast? Give me ideas and I shall give...

Re: New Minecraft Server!
I didn't realise this pack was on the server, I've been playing it on a friend's for a week or so. Are we all still whitelisted? I've done a lot of stuff with Tinker's Construct and such, lots of super fun tools and things you can do to secure your base like punji sticks and barricades. Also the mi...

Re: New Minecraft Server!
Things I've learnt from a trip to the moon that arn't mentioned in the getting started guide: 1) GLOWSTONE Seriously, as much as you can. Torches don't work up there. Not tried the pumpkin lanterns but they might work, otherwise redstone lamps should do it. 2) If you go into a dungeon make sure you...
Re: Arma 3
/cast resurrect Dunno if anyone plays this but it's settled down quite a lot now and has some useful mods out there which would suit small group play. In terms of balancing things and making it more fun for 5punky shenanigans, I would highly recommend the following. ASR_AI - AI tweaker which makes ...

Re: STALKER: Call of Pripyat
So, I've recently been playing with Misery 2.1 Beta. There's a lot of new stuff in there, and the mod certainly lives up to it's title. The food system tweaks are quite nice, but it does make the game much harder than it should be at the start when you're really scrambling for resources. In some re...

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
I'll probably start rolling out the second batch of tweaks to WordPress and PHPBB today/tonight/tomorrow folks. I don't imagine weirdness will be a thing, but if weirdness does present itself then that'll be why! I'm going to go ahead and declare last week's testing a success I think, but if anybody...

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
Right oh! I've set up a testing environment on my web space to look at better integration with the WordPresses and the PHPBBs and I'll post the address details in the Waugh shortly. What would be great is if you get 10 mins spare, you could pop over and do some things for me - details are in the tes...

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
Incidentally, my experimenting has shown that you aren't logged on as someone else, it's just showing their display name etc. You can't access their profile, use their permissions or post as them. yeah, it strikes me as a mainly cosmetic issue, but obviously the being logged out all the time thing ...

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
I wonder if it's a permission thing, that the default contributor level doesn't let you create events (it should) so it's binning people out. The link leads to the dashboard. Very odd. it works fine for me on my home computer but I get logged out on my work computer. Only variable I can think of is...

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
Functionally they're awesome. It's good to tie those areas up with the forum, because without the link the WP and Wiki might as well be separate sites. I'd love to see a common theme across them all too so transition was less obvious and it would seem more like a single site, but with one Wordpress...

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
I just made some slight changes to make them a little more touch friendly (previously the werds were links but the icons weren't, now all is links). Anyone have any issues/suggestions/feedback?deject wrote:This, much better targets for touch as well.Dog Pants wrote:Yay buttons! Nice one Tandino.

Re: Our 5punk Needs You
I've no idea Jock. Anyone know? I've taken the RSS feeds off the front page and that seems to have sped things up quite a bit. It was taking far too long to load before. IIRC it was taken down after the hax and never restored. Possibly incompatibility with this new(er) version of PHPBB? I've been p...

Re: Mid-week gaming
Planning around Mrs Tandino's working routines, Tuesday or Thursday are best for me but I can usually make most week nights - weekend evenings tend to be a rarer occurence.
