Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)

I think I did try this before, but they've moved to iframes since then. Yes, it looks as though I can just grab the timecode and slap it on the end.

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)

I'm not sure I can change the title separately without voiding the old uses of the tag... although I might be able to fudge it with CSS. The wrong tag issue suggests the number of hard-coded bbcodes is set wrongly somewhere, which is odd because nothing at all should work then...

Hell and high water!
But it has to be both, or it'll be too firey or drowny.

Re: The Stanley Parable

I think you'll need HL2 as it uses some assets.
Oh, SDK 2007 should be enough, apparently.

It says you just need to put the files in /sourcemods and restart steam.

Denied. :(
ShopTo removed all their £1.99 game offers because fuck you.

What is the final judgement of Magika? Worth spending a few quid on?

Hohoho, I like. Great voicework.
The trailer suggests there's stuff I still haven't seen, so back I go.

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)

Strangely that video won't let me skip forward, just starts the video from the beginning wherever the slider is. Just pointing it out. Hmm. I can seek to parts that the video has preloaded, although that often defeats the object. I'll look in to that too. I think The Escapist uses the same player, ...

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)

I'll have a closer inspection, but at first glance it looks doubtful. The video's filename is passed as an attribute [..]media.tested.com%2Fvideo%2FTS_40211_AppsWeek_1500.mp4[...] which cannot be guessed from the page's URL http://www.tested.com/app-of-the-day-pocket-rpg/47-460/ I also notice that t...

Is it related at all to the Unreal Engine 3 tech demo from earlier in the year?

Re: New season talk type thread thing.

I just caught the last 20 minutes of episode two of Twenty Twelve . Seems episode 1 has buggered off already. It's a "Comedy series following the challenges faced by those responsible for delivering the 2012 Olympics." delivered in spoof style. It's heavily reminiscent of The Games , whic...

I didn't buy anything during the Steam Summer Sale. By my logic, it would be actually illegal for me not to buy this.

Native DOS/OldWin games, as opposed to DOSbox Internet Explorers 3-6 All of the Linux distributions, all at once! If you've got kids or non-technical people around you can set up a auto-reverting OS you can't do any damage to (I think Windows had this built in at one point- called SteadyState - but ...

Ooh, yay.
Nimbus has a lovely relaxing soundtrack available for free. It has a mod/tracker vibe.
Super Meat Boy also has a great soundtrack.
Portal 2, obviously.
Bit Trip Runner is a good enough excuse to play some Anamanaguchi.

what are peoples opinions on semi-pre-built,barebones kits like this? for the price i'm not expecting much but it looks competent. thoughts? Bundles seem a better idea than Barebones. There's nothing to gain from getting the Case, PSU and Mainboard as a set, while buying Mainboard, CPU and Memory t...

Re: Things you need to watch (or hear) from time to time

I didn't really see The Tick when it was on, although I was vaguely aware of it. The bits I did see were great.
I haven't seen it available to watch in full anywhere, although The surprisingly good live-active version is available.
