Re: Gamescom just gone but back next year
It's not that far for me (but would be considerably easier to go to if I had a car :unimpressed: ) so I've always been interested in going, but I'm really put off by the waiting in line. Hours of waiting to see a bit of fluffed-up footage or some polished cutscenes? No thanks. I'm not really seeing ...

Re: Norman's Guy
You might be in luck regarding the other players, there's currently a big fuss going on about the game apparently not having a multiplayer whatsoever despite there being one promised. I didn't really read into it and it's probably just internet people shouting against each other on tumblr. It's all ...

Awww.
Can't you even nip in and say hello? I promise to keep a fancy beer aside for you. Foster's is fancy, right?

Re: New season talk type thread thing.
I noticed a similar thing with other's reactions. I liked stranger things, but great soundtrack and a couple of good performances aside (good job, kids!) it's a pretty mediocre show. For me it's a bit let down by a very weak monster that looked more like a resident evil boss than anything from Stan ...

Re: Wireless headphone.
The cheapest ones skullcandy has are on-ear style phones, which get very uncomfortable after a while. Anyway, its seems I made this thread in vain as moments after I posted my question she bought this . Don't know if they're any good, but they include a cable for when your battery runs out so you ca...

Wireless headphone.
Mrs. J would like a wireless headphone for watching stuff on her ipad. Her requirements are pretty simple: -nothing too fancy, she wares little for perfect audio quality. -comfort is pretty important, over-ear headphones desired. -Nothing over say £40~ish. THAT'S IT. Anyone have any recommendations?

Re: Movie Trailers
That that Kong trailer looks like the latest Godzilla probably isn't a coincidence, I've read somewhere that they were planning on doing another king kong vs godzilla film. I've seen the King Arthur trailer earlier today, it looks like every other Guy Ritchie film except they threw some magic and sw...

No need for money, the mustard is pretty cheap so just pay me in beers or a pizza or something.

Re: Brum Bash foods
Since I missed out on Belgium bash it might be nice to try some stuff from there. I don't really know what there is though, I'm not a massive fan of sweet things and my favourite things cheese and meat don't transport very well. Maybe some dried meat or pate that is unique to Belgium, that'd be gra...

Re: Brum Bash foods
And sorry to hijack the thread but does anyone have any specials requests from Belgium? I'll be bringing mattetaart as usual and I was thinking about bringing a small selection of beers as well, though I'm a bit limited due to weight. Anything else?

Re: Brum Bash foods
Here's my idea: FRIDAY: Something cheap and probably not super healthy, like chips, or curry, or Chinese, etc... Depends on what's nearby so we can walk there using our legs and maybe feet. Alternatively, don't leave the comfort of home and order in some pizza. SATURDAY: We'll already be on the road...

Re: Is it a good time to upgrade, bitches?!
Building your own PC is actually not that hard, I know fuck all about electronics and assembled all my own PC's. I did get some help at first but it's pretty intuitive. That said, if you have the money for it I don't see why you shouldn't let someone else build it, less chance for error that way. I'...

Re: Movie mini reviews
Incidentally I watched that a few days ago. The jokes and theme were a bit on the nose, but I did laugh a few times. And yes, it's hard not to make the connection with current politics and especially Trump, which is funny as the book it's based on was published in 2012. Maybe that's where he gets th...

Re: Brum Bash X - Activities
I'm going to be completely unhelpful by saying that I wouldn't mind any of these. HOWEVER. I know how frustrating it is when everyone goes "I like all of these" so here is my TOP 5 activities: NUMBER 5: Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park. I love zoos! But I visit the zoo I took you to a...
