I hope I'm understanding the question right here but - it'll only go down to 8x on both in SLI mode so no, you will still get the independent speeds i.e. 16x for the new card + whatever the other slot operates at for the old one for physx. Here's a question, if your motherboard runs the pci slot at 16x but only 8x in sli, would that still be 8x if you were just using the 2nd as a dedicated PhysX card? Just ordered a new card and was thinking about slapping my 9800 in for that since I have it.

Looks like I have a spare copy of Audiosurf, Defense Grid, Amnesia and Super Meat Boy if anyone is interested.

Edit: Super Meat Boy and amnesia are sold, but I found I have a copy of portal 1 if no one here has not have it yet.

You can annex puppet states if you need a coastal city. Also if you annex cities be sure to build, um courthouses I think, as it takes away the unhappiness from the annexation.

I'm stuck on turn 278 with only 3 civs to conquer yet and it keeps crashing at the same spot. I've been playing the same game for 21 hours now and I get to keep replaying turn 277. It feels like groundhog day, I swear I even hear "I got you babe" when my game finishes loading.
